It’s prom season: a time for gorgeous dresses, tuxedos, corsages and limos – and not just for high schoolers. For the first time, residents and family members were treated to an evening of fun and dancing as Bethesda Southgate staff hosted an “Old Hollywood” themed Prom night. The dining room was transformed into a ballroom with a special dinner followed by balloting for a King and Queen and then dancing.
Resident family members came to help make their loved ones look special for the event. Elegant hairstyles, formal wear and flowers adorned the participants and memories were made and shared by all. King Ed Bick and Queen Mable Yates presided over the festivities, which included photos and a lot of socializing.
