Charlie Amen is principal of the law firm Amen, Gantner & Capriano, Your Estate Matters, L.L.C., and has supported a number of Bethesda initiatives over the years.
Through conversations with the team at the Bethesda Health Group Foundation, Charlie learned of the new Hospice Rooms that were being created at a couple of the skilled nursing communities.
Recognizing the wonderful compassionate care that one of his clients, Sam Halley, had received by the Bethesda Hospice Care team. Recognizing that Sam and his sister Justina had no family to name as beneficiaries of their trust, Charlie, as trustee of the Sam and Justina Halley Foundation, chose to graciously establish a long-standing legacy at Bethesda and fund the renovation of two Hospice Rooms.
