Have you ever thought about truly helping make a difference in the lives of seniors? At Bethesda, we are fortunate to have more than 400 volunteers participating in activities, providing comfort and companionship to our residents and their families, delivering the mail, transporting residents to meals, and more.

Becoming a Volunteer
- You must be a minimum age of 18 years (inquire individually regarding opportunities for supervised minors)
- Complete application and other necessary forms
- Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator
- Complete Tuberculin Test
- Attend training and orientation
Things to Keep in Mind
- Be able to volunteer independently if necessary
- Be willing to take on various tasks assigned by Volunteer Coordinator (watering plants, pushing hydration cart, etc.)
- Be flexible as task assignments could change day to day
- Refer to Volunteer Coordinator for any current mask or COVID-19 vaccine requirements
- Refer to Volunteer Coordinator for restrictions on supervised minor volunteers (Junior Volunteer Application required)
- Volunteers who want to regularly donate their time on a consistent basis are encouraged!
