Aging in Place

Our homes are more than just places to live – they are a shelter of safety, love, and connection. Homes hold our memories, our stories, and our sense of belonging. For most people, the goal is to remain living independently in their homes for as long as possible. However, as people age, health challenges such as stroke, fall, surgery, or the natural progression of aging can make daily tasks more difficult. These challenges can impact a senior’s ability to care for themselves and harm their overall quality of life.

Bethesda’s Aging in Place program is here to help. We provide support and services at no cost to lower-income Bethesda residents and patients who have experienced a health setback or simply need a little extra help to stay healthy, safe, and independent at home.
