Will or Trust

To leave a gift to Bethesda Health Group through your will or trust, you should meet with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include Bethesda Health Group in your estate plan.

To name Bethesda Health Group in your will or trust, we have provided some basic language to assist you and your attorney.

Residual Bequest Language:

A residual bequest comes to Bethesda after your estate expenses and specific bequest are paid.

I give and devise to Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) all or (state percentage) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).

Specific Bequest Language:

You can also name Bethesda Health Group as a beneficiary of a specific amount of your estate.

I give and devise to Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis, Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) the sum of $_________ (or “____shares of ________stock”) to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).

Contingent Bequest Language:

Bethesda Health Group can be named as a contingent beneficiary in your will or personal trust if one or more of your specific bequests cannot be fulfilled.

If (insert individual heir’s name) is not living at the time of my demise, I give and devise Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis, Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) the sum of $_____ (or “all” or “percentage”) of the residue of my estate to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).

"The Humanitarian Care Program, providing aid to vulnerable seniors, is at the heart Bethesda's mission that began over a year ago. With this gift, we hope to ensure that legacy continues for another century." -George and Barbara Clements

Champions of Care: The Clements’ Charitable Fund

For more than four decades, Barbara and George Clements have faithfully served Bethesda Health Group in a wide range of volunteer leadership roles. George served not only as a member of the Board of Directors, but also twice as Chairman of the Board. He continues his commitment today as a member of Bethesda’s Advisory Board. Barbara has likewise dedicated her time and talents to the organization through her service on the Women’s Board, including a term as President.

This extraordinary couple shares a deep and personal connection to Bethesda and a sincere passion for ensuring the overall well-being and happiness of its residents. In reflection of that commitment, Barbara and George have included Bethesda in their estate plans, designating a percentage of their Will to support its mission.

“For more than 45 years, we have been heavily involved with Bethesda and have seen the compassionate care they provide to all their seniors,” said George.

Many donors find that including Bethesda in their estate plans is a deeply meaningful way to make an even greater impact than they imagined. You can make that impact too.
