Will or Trust
To leave a gift to Bethesda Health Group through your will or trust, you should meet with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include Bethesda Health Group in your estate plan.
To name Bethesda Health Group in your will or trust, we have provided some basic language to assist you and your attorney.
Residual Bequest Language:
A residual bequest comes to Bethesda after your estate expenses and specific bequest are paid.
I give and devise to Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) all or (state percentage) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).
Specific Bequest Language:
You can also name Bethesda Health Group as a beneficiary of a specific amount of your estate.
I give and devise to Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis, Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) the sum of $_________ (or “____shares of ________stock”) to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).
Contingent Bequest Language:
Bethesda Health Group can be named as a contingent beneficiary in your will or personal trust if one or more of your specific bequests cannot be fulfilled.
If (insert individual heir’s name) is not living at the time of my demise, I give and devise Bethesda Health Group, St. Louis, Missouri (EIN: 43-0666738) the sum of $_____ (or “all” or “percentage”) of the residue of my estate to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or community).
