Volunteer

Community members who brighten the days of our residents with treats, crafts, card games or quiet conversations make Bethesda a very special place. In 2009, more than 677 volunteers donated roughly 17,585 hours in support of our residents. Our staff, residents and their families are grateful for the loving compassion of our volunteers.

Each year, Bethesda recognizes long-serving volunteers with the Norwood Award as a token of gratitude for the many residents and families that have benefited through the generous gifts of time given by our volunteers.
