- Provide direct spiritual support and/or counsel to patients/families in keeping with patients’/families’ beliefs.
2. Work with staff, clergy, and community groups to enhance their sensitivity to the spiritual concerns of patients/families experiencing terminal illness and loss.
3. Participate in patient conference by exploring and assessing the potential spiritual needs of patients/families and reporting on services as indicated.
4. Provide bereavement follow-up services as defined by established procedures.
5. Maintain proper records of visits to patients/families.
6. Maintain contact with clergy or appropriate representatives of patients/families as indicated.
7. Perform occasional liturgical assignments such as the annual Service of Remembrance and monthly memorial services with staff.

1. Properly sets up dining room tables for the next meal, stocks beverage area and prepares necessary items for the following shift including silverware or folded napkins as assigned.

Empowers staff by promoting responsibility, accountability, and autonomy to enhance patient care. Completes CNA assignments and follows up on responsibilities to ensure residents satisfaction. Ensures standards of patient care are utilized and delegates responsibilities as defined by policy or necessary to ensure appropriate resident care. Monitors and assist assigned staff as necessary to ensure completion of all tasks properly and in a timely manner. 12. Demonstrates flexibility in responsibilities and professional competency at all times. Participates in in servicing, continuing education and other activities to keep professionally current.
